Structure 
The ongoing reforms related to developing and restructuring the nuclear sector led to appreciation of the old truth that cadres are all-important. In this context, the streamlining processes were also initiated in the system of advanced training and education. The nuclear industry renaissance program based on the emerging needs of the facilities gave a good impetus to further development of the Central Institute of Continuing Education and Training of “Atomenergoprom”.
CICE&T has been the lead training center in the additional professional development system for many years and is now on the forefront of education, upgrading qualifications and retraining employees for the nuclear sector. Here in Obninsk, a solid base for education and training has been established, there are qualified instructors and skilled specialists, experience is available in setting up activities at different levels and advanced teaching methods are used.
As regards professional training and knowledge offered to trainees, the Institute plays an important role in the Rosatom system of personnel training and education. The strategic goal of CICE&T for the next 10 years is to be the lead center for training and knowledge management in the nuclear sector.
